and it was sent!

More than one month ago I was thinking about my next step

I needed to be in Colombia, in a really honest time with me, after of the intense 6-months as project manager in Iberoamerica, to take a decision...

Fortunately, I found myself on a hammock, with a frozen Maracuja's juice, finishing the book "Ensayo sobre la Ceguera" by Jose Saramago, surrounded by my family and in *Girardot!, a city in four hours from Bogotá. [Perfect place to rest and have fun.!]

and the next jump?

• A challenging professional/personal experience...
• Definitely, something related with Communications, in order to start connecting my professional background...
• Europe! Europe has pretty things to make me feel Great. Cool. in Peace. Different!.

So, that is how I took the decision and I'm running for {Vice President of Communication of AIESEC International 08-09}. YAY! The application was already sent. :)

I should say: Thanks! to everyone who supported me with documents, ideas, personal experiences, feedback and time!. Thanks also to Colombia, Brazil, Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile and Uruguay), Mexico, Spain, Portugal and Romania for endorsed my candidacy :)

The selection process will take place on the next 17th to 27th of February at the Republic of Macedonia!.

I'm excited, anxious, nervous, condifent and very happy... Vamos a ver!

Colombia, the only risk is wanting to stay!

The first thing I did in 2007 was running! -literally- I ran with a suitcase, full of clothes, around the block where my family live (it is a colombian tradition when you wish to travel a lot in the new year).

And it works out!

The first semester of the 2007, I was finishing my term as MC in Colombia. The last round of LC coaching visits in Colombia, was in Santa Marta, Barranquila (at the caribbean), Medellin, Armenia and Bogotá (at the center).

On June, I was travelling to Sao Paulo, Brazil, to start my new role as Project Manager in Iberoamerica. Two weeks after I got to Rotterdam, The Netherlands since my transition was holding at the AI office.

August, Turkey was being my first asian destination. :)

On September, I went back to Sao Paulo, just for 2 weeks and then, starting my LC visits around South America. Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina take part now of my heart.

To finish 2007, few days of December in Brazil and then, HOLIDAYS in Colombia! (my nicest place to be!) with my family, the most important thing for me!

in an intense year..

I'm still in Colombia, waiting for my new passport, my visa to Spain and getting ready to spend another few weeks in Sao Paulo. ;)
