I need a dog!

I always have had a pet... Well, actually I had, till the last year when I came back to Colombia, after my internship in Brazil, and I found my house 180 degrees different as I left it: separated parents, one sister moving to Argentina, the youngest one living with my dad, my mom was sick and moving to a new house and my dog: Aurelio, was lost!

Any way, after all of these hard moments... my family is getting better now. Accepting and understanding, without pain and frustrations, our destiny. And try to live, "normally", even we still live separated :)

But, after all....I continue missing Aurelio!!

Definitely, dogs can be as cRazY, spontaneous, cute, noisy!, kind, dirty, lazy, politeness, friendly, comprehensive, incredulous, innocent, helpless... as I am many times!

I miss to be with someone who could understand it and doesn't judge me. Someone to be with, that doesn't make me feel alone, and who doesn't need to talk to be comfortable with.

Someone without many complications: simply there...

Conclusion... I need a dog! :)

Living and working in São Paulo

I'm starting my new life in Brazil, without many pretensions about all the things I want to do here and also, because I don't want to set my routine for this year... why not? basically, because this year will be totally different to the previous ones. This is my year as a nomad :O ... yeeeehaaaaa!

My house

I live temporally with the MC of AIESEC in Brazil. This is a big house where there are the offices, girls dormitories, boys dormitories, kitchen, parking, 3 bathrooms, one small backyard, one living room.. etc.. Many AIESEC people have passed here, in Vila Mariana!!

Nowadays, we are living here 13 individuals and 6 more are coming approx., between MC AIESEC Brazil members, CC of IC Brazil 2008 and Iberoamerica GN Board, obviously from different cities from Brazil and different countries... :)

We are in an AIESEC mood all the time, but also is a HUGE responsibility with yourself, in order to manage your working and personal stuffs.. Is not easy to live and work in the same place...! On the other hand, is a good chance to learn living together. We are talking in portuñol, espanglish and portunglish!.. any way, our objective: Learning Portuguese! :)

Living diversity!

This is my life for now on.. I've uploaded on Facebook some pictures about my life in São Paulo... Soonly I will start my travels around South America... again, my clothes in my bag pack. :)

I love to be in Latin America

This morning I went to the public market (the one that is organized on the streets once a week), here in Sao Paulo, and was awesome!! Because I could find all the fruits I love: I bought passion fruit, guanabana, banana, apples, grapes, peaches, papaya....!!

But, the coolest thing is that everyone was happy!. :)

They offered to me try everything that I wanted before I decided to buy it or not. There were a lot of children (I love children) smiling and asking for Ice creams to their parents. There was music, sun, nice day!

Also, I bought the flowers I like: red margaritas, astromelias and other yellow ones that I don't know the name, but the guy of the stand gave me two more roses!! for free!! just because.! Those are already on my desk :P ...

I bought everything I need for these week, -plus the extra flower, tomato, carrot, apple, grape they gave me just because-, and I didn't spend more than 10 euros! (yeap.. I'm still thinking in Europe)..!

Today I felt happy to be in Latin America..! You cannot imagine all the wealth we have: the colors, the sounds, the smells, the people... and only when you're abroad you notice it.

[Be aware about where are you today because you don´t have certainty about tomorrow]

Turkey to the gallery!

You know me!.. here is the addition to my personal photo gallery. Enjoy it! :o)

Life hold on!

Life, stop for a moment!, Because I want to thank you for all the amazing things that you have given to me. :)

I arrived to Rotterdam yesterday and I slept almost 15 hours..! I was extremely tired, my energy was in -10 and I felt (actually I still feel) sick. Consequences of the food, the change of weather and all the activity I had.

I was reading the sugar cubes ppl wrote to me from IC, is incredible to notice how you can impact to others with one short moment, one smile, one advice or one honest word...

IC Turkey meant a lot to me. Was discover many other aspects of myself I didn't know, was overpassed my fears, was challenging myself, was noticed that I have friends that I truly love, was feel proud of my country and to be colombian!.

At the same time, I met amazing people. People who enjoy the life, people who are proud of his country. Funny, geek, intense, mysterious, smart and pretty people, people working hard for AIESEC and in a few years will do it for their societies as well. :)

Turkey is a country of contrasts! of people, religions, accents, landscapes.. I really enjoyed my weeks there.

Now I'm in the quiet and rainy Rotterdam, drinking a colombian coffee made for me, in two days I will be flying to Sao Paulo, Brazil. Hopefully, at the end of this month will start my South American journey (Uruguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia)! :)

I just want to say: thanks! because this is too much for me. I cannot believe how lucky I'm and also the big responsibility this is bringing to me.

I know, I will do my best and it will be great :)
