My first 25 years of life... celebrating from the coast!

...all this week I was in Barranquilla visiting AIESEC UNINORTE, in fact, is the 1st LC in AIESEC Colombia and the SSGN, according the most recent report of number of Exchanges in the region. For me, it was awesome to told them this good news during their EB meeting. They were so excited! :)

AIESEC Uninorte impressed me a lot; they're working so professional and interconnected among its areas. It was inspired to me be there, share with the people, try to live and understand their lives (full of exams, thesis, homeworks, etc.) and also they keep their own record of sustainable growth of Exchange in Colombia.

The other cool thing was to be in Lore's place. It was so great, we went out to share together with a delicious "Piña Colada", talking about transition and other stuff. Her family was so special with me, I ate everything I wanted, drunk everything I wanted, slept as I wanted :)

Last night, at 12 o'clock, the UN people were the firsts to give me my B-day regards!.. One beer, on thursday, was the celebration of my first 25 years of life...Viva la Costa!! Since that, I've received all the day many phone calls, messages, songs, pretty words... etc. It make me feel so special for a lot of people!

This is the second time when I'm celebrating my B-day away from home...

By the way, I called my sister at 3am (4am to her), it was so funny because I sang to her the "Sapo verde tuyuuuu" (colombian version of Happy B-day song) and then she sang it to me! ... the cool thing to be twins!

Any ways, I've arrived to Santa Marta 2 years after my last visit... the weather is perfect! today I have some meeting and in the night the plans is to go out to celebrate my B-day!...

...the journey continues...

My last journey around Colombia has started!

Before I leave to Sao Paulo or Rotterdam, my destinations in my lovely Colombia will be: Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Medellín, Armenia and Tolima. YUJU! Ask me how do I feel?

These last days I spent with AIESEC ANDES, one of the LCs of Bogotá. I enjoyed a lot the time with the EB, their personalities make of this team so diverse and funny as well. They like to play piano and guitar and they do it so great!

The saturday I was in its General Assembly and the sunday the time was for the PD Team. Great times! Andes has such potential in the city that if they notice it they could to do so many things, and lead regional initiatives in Bogotá.
Main message to them: FoCUS! (or like they said: F**ck you!)

I feel so different than the first round of visits that I did at the beggining of the term. I feel more prepared and focused, so I feel giving a better coaching to them.

Tonight I'm gonna fly to Barranquilla (at last!), AIESEC Uninorte is waiting for ME...
Stay tuned!

the step forward... SSGN Board 07-08

I was selected to the SSGN Board 07-08 as Social Entrepreneurship Project Manager. It means that I will be in charge of the Social Entrepreneurship Program of AIESEC in Latin America, United States and Spain. AEEEEE!!

The cool thing is that I'm going back to live in Brazil (now in the fourth biggest city of the world: Sao Paulo), I will have transition and planning in The Netherlands, the kick-off will be in Turkey and I'm going to know Spain!! :P

I couldn't believe this when Juan - AI SSGN Director- called me early in the morning, I was with my mom taking my breakfast; also the night before I couldn't sleep well waiting for the results of the selection.

Juan just told me that from the beginning of june he wanted me early at the SSGN board office... I don't remember what I told him, if I screamed or not; I just remember that my mom was extremely excited as ME!

I'm just happy.. Thanks to whom made this possible! :)

I've noticed that this is another happy moment in my life, as many others, that I've written in my blog: when I gave my legacy as LCP, when I was elected to go to my internship, when I was elected MCVP of Colombia, when I could go to Poland...

I'm a lucky girl definitely!
Thanks AIESEC for give me the best XPs in my life

Have a look of my future team! :)

last...

This is the third day of the Leadership Development Seminar of AIESEC in Colombia... So far, it has been an incredible experience, not only for share with the delegates (mostly new members), but also for me, personally.

We have an incredible Chair.. it was definitely the best election we had. Caro has made that I reflect too much about my role here, today. She has an incredible experience in AIESEC and also in the life, we 've been sharing nice moments..

However, I'm nostalgic. I can't believe this is my last conference as MC, and maybe my last conference in AIESEC in Colombia. Many feelings are violently mixed with each other; but also I feel, the time to leave my legacy has come...

By the way, nice moments lived in Mexico... the checked list was completed! AAAEE! :)
