This one is the first plant of marijuana that I´ve seen in my life.

Though there are people who think in Colombia to have marijuana in the living room is common, actually it isn´t..!.

In fact, I found it in the house of a few foreigners who live in Colombia.... During the time I was there they were smoking so much. For me it was a huge cultural shock!!

This is just another plant of the colombian biodiversity, beautiful as well, but with bad luck, because it has to be in places where a lot of people in Colombia kill and die all the time for it, or in houses where there are people who look in Colombia only for the "drugs paradise".

Social Entrepreneurship in Colombia

Today I received a really great news... Our two PBOXes (Project Based on Exchange) about Social Entrepreneurship (my issue :) ) were selected in the 3rd round of funding traineeships by ARTEMISIA and KELLOGG). It means over all, the opportunities to 7 young people from Latin America to live an incredible life experience in the social sector in Colombia, as I had.

In total will be 30 funded traineeships in LA. I`m so happy for the OC`s from Bogotá and Medellín.. They`re working so hard for come true these projects, with the fellows from ASHOKA in topics: Sustainable Development, Recycling, Violence, children development and so on.

Social Entrepreneurship topic is part of the "Ser Más, haciendo la diferencia" Program of SSGN (Spanish Speaking Growth Network) of AIESEC.
